RE: DCA OVERTIME BULLETIN

Branch Secretary

Yesterday, (Thursday 05/03/20) We met with Senior Management to raise our concerns regarding the Bulletin that was sent out on (Wednesday 04/03/20 DCA Overtime Bulletin)

We appreciate our service is under tremendous pressure with Covid19 calls, but to treat our overworked members as set out in the above bulletin was not helpful, unfair and in some cases discriminatory.

In our meeting we again raised the issue of vehicles being left unmanned on stations and thought we had reached a way through these difficulties.

It seems like we have been misled as these vehicles are still being left unmanned.

This is something we as a Union cannot and will never agree with. We have only just gone through wholesale rota changes where our members changed their lives to make sure vehicles were at the right place at the right time to now be told the rules have changed.

If this is a funding issue someone from our senior management should stand up and make the point because presently the people taking the brunt are our Staff on the frontline from EOC to Road Crew staff and we cannot continue in this way.
