FREE tuition and qualification for Functional Skills

The LAS UNISON Branch is once again offering FREE tuition and qualification for Functional Skills
Level 2 in English and Mathematics
This is available to any member who does not have a GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics and wants to enter a higher education course, including the LAS Paramedic Program.
- Times - Every Wednesday between 4-6 hours
- Time scales - Up to a maximum of 45 hours teaching, though to complete ASAP depending on individual learners requirements
- Sessions - Classroom based
- Initial Assessment - To find initial level and future learning required
- LAS UNISON have negotiated 25 Hours of study leave available to all that attend
- Expectations - Exams to be taken for a level 2 functional skills in English and/or numeracy as soon as individual learner is ready, up to 45 hours learning
- Location - UNISON HQ, 130 Euston Road, London, NW1 2AY (see map below)
- Dates - Starts from 1 February 2023 for a maximum of 20 weeks.
