LAS UNISON have today responded to the EMT4 management proposal.
We have consulted through our workplace rep and senior sector rep network across the LAS and the attached letter (below) highlights the issues we recognise as a result.
We look forward to the alterations to the proposal and welcome the implementation of the final arrangement as a really positive step forward for our EMT members and for the career progression of our EAC members.
These arrangements recognise the important role of EMT’s in the LAS both for our patients and for our members.
We have been able to achieve this because LAS UNISON is the strongest, largest, most organised and most significant Trade Union in the LAS.
We would like to thank our members and all our reps for their continued work and support of our branch throughout all that we do.
