MOBILE APPS PROJECT LAUNCHED

Branch News LAS News

The London Ambulance Service, in partnership with UNISON, has recently been awarded funding to build mobile applications, or „apps‟, to benefit Service staff.

A key aim of the project is to include a wide range of staff in the design and development of the apps. You can get involved by answering the app questions in the current temperature check survey which can be accessed online at the pulse. Focus groups will also be held at the following times and locations to enable staff to share their ideas in person:

  • Ilford education centre – 11 June, 18.00 to 19.00 hrs
  • New Malden education centre – 12 June, 18.00 to 19.00 hrs
  • Fulham education centre – 18 June, 18.00 to 19.00 hrs
  • HQ, Waterloo – 19 June, 17.30 to 18.30 hrs.

Each focus group is open to both operational and non-operational staff. To book your place, please email charley.goddard@lond-amb.nhs.uk. Please note that the service will not stand participants down from their rostered duties to attend these sessions.

Alternatively, you can contact project manager Charley Goddard by email or on 020 7783 2069 or share your ideas with your local trade union representative who will feed these back to the project team.

You can also use the feedback form below and we will forward all comments to the project board.
